The 2010 Edition Of The Focus
I know this is a moment you have all been eager about : the launch of the latest model created by Ford, the new Focus, 2010 edition. Ford Focus is one of the most popular cars in Europe, gaining a lot of customers due to the low price, low taxes and low fuel consumptions, while offering a cool design, stability and, if needed, even power. It is not a sport car, yet it can go RS quite fast, if we are to compare the differenced between the standard version of the new Ford Focus and the old RS version.
The new Ford Focus will be launched in Detroit today ( 11 January 2010 ), being presented globally. The new Focus will have the same design and same engines for United States and Europe, unlinke the older versions, this possibly due to some analytical data telling that the tastes on this type of cars for europeans and americans are not that different.
The new generation of Ford Focus will be created simultaniosly in Saarlouis in Germany, in Michigan ( United States of America ) and in Chongqing (China), but soon after the first cars will be produced in the aforementioned locations, Ford will release the design in Russia and also Spain. Focus will be “in sales” starting from 2011.
Next thing in line for a good analyse of the market for Ford, regarding the Focus model would gather informations about the previous models : what was successful and what was not ?
Ford Focus 1, the models build between 1998 and 2004 / 5 are good cars, low consuption, wagon was the preset for a familly car. Ford Focus 2, the models build between 2005 and 2009 had a different approach for the design, a more sportive one, probably due to the new italian designers involved in the new look. Technically speaking, both versions were really good, but the parts replacements failed the expectations. So the original was “the original” by all means.
